Lincat, the UK’s leading manufacturer of catering equipment, has added two newheavy duty 80-litre, tilting bratt pans, one gas and one electric, to its Opus 800 range of prime cooking equipment.
Designed to meet the demands of the busiest commercial kitchen, the new Opus 800 bratt pans, offer a temperature range of 70oC to 300oC for maximum flexibility. At the same time, a unique simmer mode is available to reduce power by up to 50%. This is perfect for the bulk production of delicate sauces, hot holding and gentle, slow braising.
Both models feature a robust, manually operated tilting mechanism with a fold-away handle. The heavy duty, 2mm thick stainless steel lid can double as a bench-top workspace, and the push button water fill tap can be operated when the lid is open or closed. The large pouring spout and lip reduce the risk of spillage, and allow for quick emptying and cleaning.
The gas bratt pan, OG8801, delivers 24.5kW of power from six stainless steel tube burners and convenient, automatic pilot ignition and flame failure protection. The electric model, OE8802, is equipped with three 4kW stainless steel heating elements.
