Wimbledon Afternoon Tea is ‘Served’

A perfect respite from the heat and drama of the Wimbledon Championships, The Petersham Restaurant, at The Petersham Hotel in Richmond, is running its quintessential Afternoon Tea with a delightful Wimbledon twist, available from Monday 2nd July – Sunday 15th July.

Head Chef Jean-Didier Gouges’ big serves for the season are a scrumptious Pimm’s jelly and cucumber foam, mini mango ‘tennis ball’ cheesecakes and white chocolate and strawberry tartlets.  It’s a grand slam of favourite Wimbledon flavours.  And, with a view over the Thames as inviting as Centre Court, The Petersham is a destination that can be enjoyed throughout the Championships, and beyond.

The Petersham’s Wimbledon Afternoon Tea also includes a classic selection of finger sandwiches; scones; exquisite patisserie including Petersham Victoria sponge, Opera, and fruit cake; a selection of quality teas; favourites fizzes, and sunshine, of course. Served throughout the course of the famous Championships, the special tea is priced at £27.50 Monday to Friday and £29.50 Saturday and Sunday (add a glass of champagne for £12.75).
