Hotel du Vin Champions Local Produce and Farming with Launch of Bespoke Prix-Fixe Menu

The menu will roll-out across 19 UK locations, with each bistro offering a unique selection of locally procured and produced dishes

Luxury boutique hotel chain, Hotel du Vin, is now taking a local-first approach to its ingredients with the launch of its newest prix-fixe menu. With a commitment to the sourcing of local produce and homegrown ingredients, Hotel du Vin will offer curated selections of delicious recipes, exclusively and locally sourced, in each of its townhouse and city centre locations.

From dishes centred around Gloucester Old Spot sausage in Cheltenham and Smithfield’s Market corn-fed chicken in Wimbledon, to Portobello haggis and Scottish Anster cheese in St Andrews, each property will offer a bespoke menu of locally sourced produce unique to its location, meaning guests can expect an authentic culinary experience whenever they visit a Hotel du Vin bistro, regardless of where they are in the country.

Whilst each set menu will be specifically tailored to its locale, Hotel du Vin is renowned for its unmistakable mix of classic French and modern British flair, with these elements also laced throughout the portfolio of dishes on offer in each location. Paired with an impressive wine list, guests can enjoy the traditional and elegant feel of a French bistro, while supporting the hotel’s local businesses.

“We’ve always been committed to supporting our local communities in the places we operate in and are thrilled that we can extend this partnership into our bistros with the launch of our new prix-fixe offering,” says Matt Powell, Chef Director at Hotel du Vin.

“Gaining a deeper understanding of the hard-working communities that help bring our hotels to life has been invaluable, and has helped us ensure these menu launches reflect the broad and delicious produce on offer in each of our locations, while also staying true to our passion for great food, wine and ambiance. We plan to refresh the selections on offer each season and look forward to broadening our knowledge of the 19 communities we inhabit and giving more local produce the platform it deserves.”

The prix-fixe menus are available now at each Hotel du Vin location, with two courses on offer for £19.95 and three courses costing £24.95. Full information on the individual menu items and Hotel du Vin’s locations can be found on the website: https://www.hotelduvin.com/food-drink/prix-fixe/
