Catering Design Group is shortlisted for major industry award for school design @CateringDesignG

All Hallows Catholic School now has an attractive new space where pupils and staff can eat and mingle

Daventry-based Catering Design Group (CDG) has been shortlisted for a Grand Prix Award 2020.

Run by the catering equipment industry trade body, ceda, the awards programme recognises excellence within the UK catering equipment sector, shining a light on great design, customer service and project management.

Commercial kitchen and restaurant design company, CDG, has been shortlisted under the ‘Design Project between £300K and £500K’ category for their recent work at All Hallows Catholic School, a comprehensive school and Sixth Form College in Farnham, Surrey.

Following a competitive tender process, All Hallows School awarded the contract to CDG who provided a full interior design consultancy and project fit-out.

The brief was to transform the school’s existing kitchen space, servery and dining area into a vibrant, contemporary facility to reflect the school’s ethos and quality.

Phil Howard, manging director of CDG, said: “We are thrilled that our shared vision for this space has been recognised by our wider industry. All Hallows School now has a stunning new space where students and staff can eat and mingle. It’s not only aesthetically pleasing, but it works on a practical level also, from the smart working kitchen to the smooth flow during service.”

All of the finalists now go forward to the Grand Prix Awards at the ceda Conference and Gala Dinner on the 23rd and 24th April at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate.
