Grinchy office managers no longer have an excuse for cancelling Christmas parties now that Feast It are partnering with hundreds of the best food and drink suppliers across the country to provide virtual parties that are as good as the real thing!

Feast It, the UK’s leading event planning platform, have linked up with the likes of Pizza Pilgrims, Patty & Bun, Bao, Fever Tree and many other independent suppliers to offer cookalong sessions for teams looking to get interactive in the kitchen, cocktail classes from master mixologists, as well as wreath-making sessions from some of the country’s top florists.

According to a recent survey, over 95% of businesses will not be hosting traditional Christmas parties which, despite being made inevitable by the latest lockdown announcements, will come as a blow to employees.

With 75% of employees saying they are missing the social interaction that comes from working in the office, but just 40% of businesses looking into ways to improve team morale, Feast It hopes their virtual event packages will inspire more companies to do the same.

Further options include food hamper delivery from the likes of Canababes and Dinner Ladies, personalised doughnuts from Crosstown, cocktail classes from Fever Tree and craft beer tastings with Small Beer Co.

With a survey showing that around 66% of people won’t be confident attending events without a COVID-19 vaccine in place, virtual events may be set to continue into 2021 and the majority of offerings put forward by Feast It will be available beyond Christmas.

Hugo Campbell, founder of Feast It, said ‘This time last year we were organising thousands of Christmas parties with fleets of food trucks turning up at offices, to Narnia themed events at huge venues, to large scale mock-Christmas markets. Of course this year couldn’t be any more different, but we’re starting to see huge demand for virtual events because no company can simply ignore this most sacrosanct of British traditions. Our job is to make it as easy as possible for them to find options that are as close to the real as possible.’

Thom Elliott, founder of Pizza Pilgrims added ‘We’re really excited to partner with Feast It for the virtual Christmas parties initiative. Just because teams can’t meet up doesn’t mean that you can’t have a great time together, and what better way than cooking and eating a meal together! Christmas is the time of year to celebrate and it’s so important that companies find a way of rewarding all the hard work their employees have put in throughout these difficult times.’
