Posh Picnic Hampers at The Arch London

Due to popular demand The Arch London has brought back its very own take-away picnic hampers for the summer. The 5* hotel is centrally located a stone’s throw from Hyde Park, the perfect spot for an al fresco feast in the sun.

But who wants to lug about a basket of warm sandwiches and crushed crisps from home? The Arch London’s picnic hampers will offer a taste of Hunter 486 restaurant’s critically acclaimed Best of British inspired menu.

Gourmet picnic delights will include a chilled bottle of Camel Valley English sparkling wine; Homemade crisps with sea salt, lemon and sage; English Cheddar with apple and raisin chutney on sun blushed tomato bread; Smoked salmon sandwiches with lemon butter and cracked black pepper; Coronation chicken salad; Jersey Royal potato salad; Raspberry and pistachio trifle; and Battenburg.

The picnics are priced at £95 for two guests and come packaged in a posh hamper. The service offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a luxurious picnic, ideal for a proposal, wedding anniversary, or any celebration with family or friends during the summer months.

Picnic hampers are to be collected and returned to The Arch London on the same day unless otherwise agreed in advance and include a picnic blanket.

Hunter 486 restaurant within The Arch London is named after the 1950s dialing code for Marylebone. Developed by Head Chef Gary Durrant, the menu at Hunter 486 is inspired by ‘Best of British’ recipes using only the freshest seasonal ingredients. The crowning glory of the new menu is the use of the stone oven.  As it operates at a very high heat, meat and fish are produced with astonishingly succulent results.
