Sharon O’Connor Appointed Group Meetings & Events Revenue Development Manager for LHMUK

Sharon O’Connor has been appointed Group Meetings & Events Revenue Development Manager for LHMUK.

Sharon will be responsible for the 21 sales office teams across the LHMUK portfolio to deliver the budgeted targets for the group as a whole in meetings and events revenues.

The new position will include supporting, guiding and developing the team of M&E Managers in the globally branded Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza hotels across the UK, to ensure that they are meeting and exceeding standards for their sales office teams as well as supporting the commercial strategy for the hotels.

Sharon takes on the role with extensive hospitality revenue management experience and knowledge of the brands, having previously held the position of Senior Cluster Revenue Manager for LHMUK.

All LHMUK properties offer a range of modern meetings and events facilities for business and leisure guests. LHMUK was recently awarded No1 Large Group (15+ properties) and the Gold Standard Group Award at the VenueVerdict Awards 2017, with the majority of hotels receiving a VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation.
