Hank’s is a brand-new burger and beer bar in a converted railway arch, in Deptford, South-East London, due to open this month. The site will be the first permanent home for the team behind Hank’s Street Food, an American-influenced market stall, as well as a return to SE London for locals, Simon and Vic, who sold their first sandwich just across the road as a market stall in Giffin Square in April 2014.
Set in the new Deptford Market Yard, Hank’s will have a short menu designed to please meat eaters, fish lovers and vegetarians alike. American-style beer will be sourced from London breweries, with a menu specially curated by locals, Hop, Burns & Black, each carefully paired to a burger on the menu. Sauces will be made in-house and spices blended by hand to their secret recipes. Everything at Hank’s is locally sourced, sustainable, high quality and packed in environmentally friendly wrapping.

About Hank’s
Hank’s started four years ago, in Deptford selling their Deep South inspired po’boy sandwich. They’re now one of the regulars on London’s street food scene. Co-founders Simon and Vic source all their products as locally as possible, from independent London suppliers. Their handmade spices, sauces and sides are all blended and made in their kitchen, just a 10 minute walk from Deptford Market Yard.
