Summer Salutations on the South Bank with Rooftop Yoga

Park Plaza London Waterloo launches Yoga Classes

A year since Park Plaza London Waterloo first opened, the sophisticated hotel is adding to its appeal with the launch of free yoga classes on its scenic rooftop terrace!

Set a stone’s throw from London’s South Bank, Park Plaza London Waterloo boasts incredible views of the city’s iconic landmarks, with its rooftop spaces providing an idyllic setting in which to relax in the heart of the capital.

Taking place in August and September and suitable for all abilities, Londoners and those visiting can look forward to bringing their body and mind together in perfect harmony with the South Bank as the backdrop. Beginning at 8am with De-Stress Specialist Kay Wettasinghe, guests will start the day feeling totally revitalised and rebalanced, with classes announced on the following dates:

  • Saturday 11th August
  • Saturday 1st September

Open to the public, guests can create the ultimate wellness experience by combining the session with a spa treatment at the hotel’s award-winning Mandara Spa*. Fully unwind in its indoor pool, sauna and steam room – or for the ultimate pamper, a signature Balinese-inspired treatment will nourish the body even more. Florentine, the hotel’s all-day brasserie, is also perfectly positioned for guests to end the session with a spot of brunch too, offering everything from its world-famous ostrich eggs to the classic Full English breakfast.

The hotel’s private terrace spaces are also available for hire, offering a picturesque place for your own private yoga sessions, parties or drinks receptions all summer long.
