The Waldorf Hilton announced as new official hotel partner of MAMMA MIA! – London’s much-loved, smash hit musical

The Waldorf Hilton, the landmark West End hotel, has announced its official hotel partnership with global smash hit musical, MAMMA MIA! – just in time the film release of MAMMA MIA! Here We Go Again!

To celebrate its official hotel partner status with the West End musical, The Waldorf Hilton has launched a themed afternoon tea – complete with white linen table cloths, blue water glasses and an entirely new menu inspired by the show’s Greek island setting and ABBA songs.

Available until September 10th, guests will be offered a selection of Greek inspired sweet pastries including Baklava, Greek yoghurt and panna cotta, along with an assortment of finger sandwiches and a choice of teas or champagne.

A MAMMA MIA! cocktail and Greek style Mezze menu will also be available to guests at The Waldorf Hilton’s Good Godfreys Bar & Lounge, including drinks inspired by hits from the show, such as the Chiquitita – a concoction of Cointreau, Lime Juice and Grapefruit Liqueur.

As part of its long-term partnership, MAMMA MIA! promotional materials will be provided to guests at check in and featured throughout the hotel.

Originally the vision of thespian Edward Sanders who managed a theatre at the time, The Waldorf was built 110 years ago in a unique location – bookended by two of the West End’s most prestigious theatres. Given this history and its long links to the West End, the hotel’s strategy is to align itself to London’s theatre and entertainment scene by brokering special relationships with the latest theatre productions, as well as redesigning the hotel’s pre-theatre offering – ensuring memorable guest experiences both inside, and outside the hotel.
