On 22 February, Fiume, the new contemporary Italian restaurant at Battersea Power Station, will be hosting a meat-free supper club with Chef Patron Francesco Mazzei and guest chef Nina Parker of NINA. Francesco first worked with Nina during the days of L’Anima, when she was a young chef learning in his kitchen, and their reunion this February will see the pair preparing a feast based on recipes from each other’s books.
From the menu, a tempting selection of cicchetti, including Aubergine croquettes; Wild mushroom pinsas; and Grana Padano and truffle doughnuts, will be followed by a delicious seasonal starter of Burrata and radicchio. As the perfect illustration of Francesco and Nina’s wholesome Italian cookery, guests will be served a main course of Ricotta and spinach dumplings with pizzaiola, and to complete the feast, there will be a wonderful array of desserts such as Vegan chocolate cake, Amalfi lemon sgroppino, and Ricotta and pear torta. Furthermore, with a playful nod to the hosts of the evening, guests will be able to choose from cocktails including the Negroni Del Mazzei with Tanqueray gin, Rosolio, Cocchi Americano and olives, and the Nina Mimosa with mandarin and bergamot.
This wonderful Italian feast will begin at 7pm on 22 February, with tickets priced at £40pp.
