Catering Design Group is shortlisted for national award

Daventry-based commercial kitchen and restaurant design company, Catering Design Group (CDG), has been named a finalist in the fourth annual Catering Insight Awards, in association with Atosa.

Shortlisted under the ‘Distributor of the Year – Project Management’ category, CDG has been chosen for its outstanding work undertaken over the last twelve months, earning praise for its recent design projects with leading independent schools.

The company will now go forward to the finals which take place on 29th November at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London.

Clare Nicholls, editor of Catering Insight magazine said: “With the diverse challenges that distributors can face in designing and installing restaurant spaces, it takes a special firm to balance all the spinning plates simultaneously – and to a first-class standard. Therefore, the Catering Insight Distributor of the Year – Project Management award, sponsored by Welbilt, recognises the company that stands out for delivering very special projects.”

Steve Hutchings, director of CDG, said “To be in the finals under the project management category is a great vote of confidence in the way we work. We are a close knit team with huge emphasis on looking after our clients and building long, lasting and collaborative working relationships with them.

“85 per cent of our business is from repeat business or referrals, showing the high levels of satisfaction and trust clients have in us. The educational projects which have attracted this accolade are typical of our approach, highlight that great design must go hand-in-hand with great working partnerships. We are absolutely thrilled that we have been recognised in this way.”
