A high achiever in the Jurys Inn family, Andy was nominated for the Jurys Graduate of the Year scheme in 2003 and went on to facilitate the successful launch of Jurys Inn Swindon in 2009 in his first General Manager role. Andy has gone from strength to strength within the group’s management team, in his time as General Manager in Jurys Inn Watford, he transformed the hotels customer experience and sales performance.

As General Manager at Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton Grand Harbour, Andy will build on the hotel’s success with business and leisure guests and oversee the hotel’s planned refurbishment, which is due to start in October and will improve the hotel’s customer product and service offering.

His passion and enthusiasm for the business, strong leadership skills and dedication to outstanding customer service will prove incredibly valuable as Leonardo Hotels continues to grow its profile in Southampton and beyond.

Located in the city centre on West Quay Road, Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton Grand Harbour was originally opened in 1994 by De Vere and the striking property features 173 rooms and suites, as well as the city’s only Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill. The hotel is also home to the newly named Royal Bar, serving delicious food all day.

The Spa at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton Grand Harbour offers packages and products for guests to enjoy from luxury cult French beauty brand, Caudalie. The hotel also boasts a hugely popular leisure centre, home to the largest swimming pool in the city centre which is open to private membership.

The hotel also has 13 meeting and event spaces, including the Mayflower function room which holds up to 500 people, making it the biggest hotel event space in the city. The space is easily adaptable and perfect for any function, from conferences to galas, award ceremonies and weddings.

Jason Carruthers, Managing Director of Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotels UK and Ireland says:

“Andy has been an asset to the Jurys Inn family for many years and we’re excited to see him take the helm as General Manager at Leonardo Royal Hotel Southampton Grand Harbour.
