Admiral Recruitment is honoured for people development @AdmiralRec

Admiral Recruitment has won The People Development of the Year category at the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s (REC) eleventh annual IRP Awards.

The IRP Awards celebrate professional excellence and the inspirational work carried out by the recruitment industry’s brightest stars. In all, ninety-three outstanding individuals and businesses were shortlisted across eighteen different categories such as newcomer of the year and best company to work for.

The winners were announced at the IRP Awards ceremony on Wednesday 27 November 2019 at The Royal Lancaster Hotel.

For the last 24 years, City of London and Ealing-based Admiral Recruitment has placed massive emphasis on developing its staff and candidates across the hospitality  and business services sectors.

Paula Rogers, CEO and founder of Admiral Recruitment, said: “I am so proud to win the people development category. It really gets to my heart because it’s not about one person; it’s about all of our people. This is for every team member and every opportunity taken on this great career journey. We recruit on attitude and personality, giving people from all ethical and cultural backgrounds work experience and gender equal opportunities to grow with us.

“There is no glass ceiling or gender pay gaps for our people at Admiral Recruitment. I am absolutely thrilled that our focus on people’s growth across all levels, from apprenticeship, reception and rookie up to consultant and director level and administration to management has been recognised in this way.”

REC chief executive Neil Carberry said: “In uncertain times, brilliant recruiters set themselves apart. The IRP Awards recognise this – being shortlisted for the IRP Awards is a huge achievement in itself and a cause for celebration, well done to you all! To those of you who have made it into the winner’s hall of fame, congratulations! The skill and professionalism shown by our winners are at the heart of our economy. Since our tenth anniversary party last year, many politicians have told me that they understand how important recruiters are to the prosperity of the whole UK.”
