GRUPPO CIMBALI LAUNCHES FIRST MACHINE DEDICATED TO THE PREMIUM HOME AND SMALL BUSINESS SECTOR IN THE UK

Faemina is now available for purchase in the UK through an exclusively dedicated e-commerce channel

The new website allows consumers to purchase Faemina, the espresso machine designed for the home and small businesses, directly online.

An e-commerce site exclusively dedicated to selling Faemina products and accessories: this is how Gruppo Cimbali is launching a new sales channel aimed at end consumers for the first time.

Accessible from the Faema website, within the ‘at home’ section, the e-commerce site currently offers the two models of the Urban and Classy machines in different colour variants, as well as the Touch&Match grinder.

Merchandise is also available, launching with an initial range of products – from branded cappuccino and espresso sets to tampers, reusable coffee cups and other tools, including a brewing set to use Faemina’s filter function.

In a few simple steps, UK buyers can now order a Faemina machine and receive it at home with free delivery and installation.

2021 was an important year for Gruppo Cimbali which, with the launch of Faemina, entered the home and small business segment, allowing for a direct dialogue with consumers. The launch of the e-commerce channel is fully aligned with Faemina’s positioning strategy to expand product distribution opportunities and to offer our consumers an increasingly simple and immediate purchasing option,” explained Enrico Bracesco, General Manager of Gruppo Cimbali.

The e-commerce channel joins Gruppo Cimbali’s network of distributors in Italy and abroad, who will continue to play a key role in distributing Faemina. Not only in terms of sales, but also because they will be responsible for delivering and installing the machine at customers’ homes, as well as providing the after-sales service that consumers will be able to benefit from after their purchase.

Currently operating on the Italian, UAE, Austria and British markets, the e-commerce site will gradually be implemented in other countries such as the German, Australia and the United States, followed by Asian countries.

This is an important step for the company, which in recent years has been focusing on innovating and digitalising its products and services with an increasingly sustainable approach. Faemina is produced with eco-friendly materials and, among other solutions that reduce energy consumption, it has an automatic stand-by system that limits energy dispersion, while the insulated boiler provides thermal insulation and reduces heat loss.

In line with digital innovation, Faemina can also be remotely managed via the dedicated BeFAEMA app. Thanks to its potential to interface with Alexa, the app allows you to set its operating parameters remotely, establishing a simpler and more flexible relationship with the machine. You can also access special Faemina content (in-depth information, video clips, infographics) that allows you to interact with the machine and enjoy an espresso just like at a café.

Faemina has an exclusive design that is ideal for the home, as well as for small businesses such as boutiques, concept stores and bistros.

Designed by ItalDesign – which has always been synonymous with Made in Italy – Faemina is a true design object with an elegant style and minimal, geometric form. And that’s not all:  it is also renowned for its high performance and exceptional user friendliness thanks to the various ergonomic solutions specifically designed to make it easier to use, while guaranteeing high quality in the cup.

The machine is accompanied by the new Faema Touch and Match home/prosumer grinder, featuring a unique design by Chris Fletcher: the grinder features an easy-to-use touch display, manual grind adjustment and extremely quiet grinding. It also allows adjustment in line with the beverages offered by Faemina, so it can grind coffee for both espresso and filter coffee.
