Have yourself a bespoke Christmas

Frosty Morning

With the biggest revenue driver of the year just around the corner, there is no need to panic if you haven’t planned your Christmas decorations yet, according to phs Greenleaf which has been supplying Christmas trees and accessories to the hospitality industry for over 25 years.

PHS-Novotel-Blackfriars

phs Greenleaf has launched its pre-decorated Christmas tree collection, featuring everything from sustainable moss trees to novelty Christmas jumper trees, to ensure businesses have access to Christmas interiors that match their brand at the drop of a hat.

The team also offers a bespoke Christmas service, allowing businesses to have unique designs specifically created for them to their exact requirements. This can include bespoke colour schemes and themed trees and accessories. Past bespoke trees designed by Greenleaf for customers have included everything from Alice in Wonderland and pink and fluffy flamingos and all-natural trees.

“The key is to align your Christmas theme with your brand,” says Stephen Dieppe, Managing Director of phs Greenleaf. “Your Christmas trees and displays should be a reflection of your values. The festive season provides you with a brilliant opportunity to visually communicate your brand values to your customers through your Christmas displays, helping to build your engagement with them and, in turn, boosting sales.

“Our team are on hand to help businesses plan the perfect Christmas. We have pre-decorated artificial and real trees, festive accessories for both in and outside a premise and a design team to bring any specific festive ideas to life.”

This year’s pre-decorated range, which has been designed in-house by the Greenleaf design team, includes a collection of traditional trees, luxury trees and trend trees and matching accessories, including wreaths, garlands, table top trees, desk florals and parcels.

Stephen Dieppe said: “We have the traditional favourites and a luxury collection for a decadent festive display. We also carefully monitor the market all year round to help us create a range of ‘trend trees’, which align with consumer attitudes and changes in the industry.

“More and more businesses have committed to greater sustainability in 2024, and we want to support them on that journey. We created our new ‘Festive Forage’ tree, which uses natural decorations, as a more environmentally friendly option for our eco-conscious customers.

“We have also introduced the Christmoss Tree™ to our range as another sustainable alternative.

Handmade in the UK from sustainably harvested wood, the trees are wooden and use only natural, biodegradable materials, including flat moss and reindeer moss.

Rainbow Tree

Trend range

This year’s trend tree themes focus on sustainability and nostalgia.

The Festive Forage hybrid tree uses only natural, recyclable or re-used decorations, including wooden stars, pine cones and eucalyptus, to make an environmental statement this Christmas whilst still wowing customers.

The innovative Christmoss Tree™ is handmade in the UK from sustainably harvested wood and uses only natural, biodegradable materials, including flat moss and reindeer moss. They come in a variety of sizes from 6ft to 10ft and can be bare wood or single, double-sided or 360 trees with moss filling. They can be wall hung for areas with limited floor space.

For a burst of nostalgia, phs Greenleaf has introduced its new ‘Deck the Halls’ tree, inspired by the much-loved Christmas jumper. It features knitted decorations including jumpers, stocking and baubles, berries and bells in a fun red and green theme.

phs Greenleaf supplies more than 2,500 decorated Christmas trees each year to businesses across the UK. Its specialist Christmas production team spend most of the year decorating artificial trees in preparation for the festive season, while Greenleaf’s real trees are harvested at a sustainable farm in the Midlands.

The Christmas designers install each tree on location to ensure it looks perfect and ready to welcome staff, visitors and customers. Each tree is available in a wide range of sizes – from a standard 7ft tree to as high as 30ft tall, alongside the 3ft tabletop tree, decorative wreaths, garlands, floral arrangements, lights and other festive accessories.
