CELEBRATE THE GREAT BRITISH SUMMER WITH A WIMBLEDON TEA AT MANDARIN ORIENTAL HYDE PARK, LONDON

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London will be ‘serving’ up a host of tennis inspired treats for fans to enjoy throughout the prestigious Wimbledon Championship 2022 tournament.

Guests of The Rosebery will be able to enjoy the quintessential British tradition of afternoon tea but one with a tennis twist. The Wimbledon Afternoon Tea will include a selection of specially curated pastries, by Executive Pastry Chef Emmanuel Bonneau, from Game, Set & Match-a, New Balls, Fantastic Wimbledon to Tie Break, along with finger sandwiches and homemade scones. A carefully selected tea menu is also included, and guests can enhance their experience with Pimm’s or Champagne should they wish. Priced at GBP 63 pp The Rosebery will be serving it from 27 June until 11 July 2022.

The Aubrey has carefully crafted the 1877 Fizz cocktail to celebrate the year that Wimbledon was founded. Made from Roku Gin, elderflower, matcha cordial, yuzu soda and with a rhubarb foam, this cocktail perfectly combines British ingredients with a Japanese twist and costs GBP 15. To be paired with the 1877 Fizz or enjoyed alone, The Aubrey will also be offering a Grand Slam sweet treat. Shaped as a tennis ball, guests are encouraged to ‘Slam’ the matcha chocolate shell open to reveal a white chocolate mouse and fresh mango gel filing. Priced at GBP15. The Aubrey will be serving both the 1877 Fizz and Grand Slam from 27 June until 11 July 2022.

The Mandarin Bar will be offering guests The Trophy cocktail. The inspiration for this cocktail stems from the iconic Men’s Final Grand Slam Trophy on which a pineapple sits on top, and is made from Pimm’s, pineapple cordial and is completed with a strawberry and cream foam. Priced at GBP 21, The Trophy cocktail will be available from 27 June until 11 July 2022.
