What is the best Party venue in the North East?

Arranging a party is a big deal. Whether it’s for a group of friends or for the office party, you’ve been given the duty of finding the best venue to keep everyone happy. It’s a big ask, but if you get it right, you’ll definitely be the top best friend/co-worker/sibling for a good few weeks.

In this series, we’re going all around the nation to find the best party venues in the region. Today, we’re exploring the North East! Don’t bother with a coat, that’s not how we party here in the North — pick your favourite from your collection of party dresses and let’s go!

York’s Chocolate Story — York

Want your party to stand out from the crowd? For a quirky venue that still boasts quality service and fantastic party resources, take a look at York’s Chocolate Story. The three-story venue allows guests to hire out the Factory Zone, and this comes with a private drinks service as standard.

Explore the Chocolate Story with a private evening tour, as well as a number of other activities that can be tailored to suit your guests. This party can be educational too, as the tour lets guests dip into the history of York’s premium chocolatiers as well as picking up some techniques from the chocolatiers themselves.

For a truly special touch, your party even has the chance to design your own signature chocolate. Pick the filling, the colours, the design, and then…scoff the lot, of course!

Must-try: We’ve heard the chocolate is something of a specialty here.

Customer reviews: The venue is enjoying a 4.5/5 rating on TripAdvisor, with many people enjoying the chance to make their own chocolates as a truly unique experience.
