Thanksgiving at Hunter 486 @thearchlondon

Hunter 486 within The Arch London in Marylebone will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving feast to celebrate the US National Holiday.

The special Thanksgiving set menu will be available from Thursday 23 November until Sunday 26 November 2017, from Noon until 10.30pm, and is priced at £35 for three courses.

The menu will feature traditional favourites such as Clam chowder or Spiced pumpkin soup; followed by a main course of Roast Norfolk Turkey cooked in the stone oven with chestnut stuffing, green bean and bacon, sweet potato mash and cranberry sauce, or Butternut squash with apple and sage risotto and roasted chestnuts. The three-course set menu will be completed by a delicious helping of Apple pie with cinnamon custard.

The à la carte menu, which uses the stone oven for many of its dishes, will also be available during Thanksgiving. The stone oven cooks meats at an incredibly high temperature with astonishingly succulent results, and will be used to roast the Norfolk Bronze Turkey to perfection.

Thanksgiving is one of the most important dates of the year for American families and offers an opportunity to enjoy a pre-Christmas turkey lunch or dinner.

Named after the 1950s dialling code for Marylebone, Hunter 486 has been designed with an air of nostalgic London glamour fused with contemporary touches. The restaurant features gleaming leather booths, blown glass chandeliers and statement artwork, plus an adjoining chic Salon de Champagne bar. Hunter 486 has an extensive wine and Champagne list with 27 available by the glass, and has been awarded the one-star award in The World of Fine Wine World’s Best Wine Lists 2017.

The kitchen is delightfully open plan and airy, allowing guests to watch the skilled chefs at work amongst the gleaming selection of copper pots and pans suspended from the ceiling. Light streams through the large windows, treating guests to a charming view of the neighbourhood mews, and come the evening, the softly lit restaurant is an intimate and romantic setting for dinner and drinks.
