Attention all chocoholics! Chocolate Week returns to London for 2017, from Monday 9 – Sunday 15 October. K West Hotel & Spa is ready to celebrate all things chocolatey in true K West spirit. Some like it hot, some like it straight from the fridge… but at this Shepherd’s Bush hotspot you’ll find chocolate atop of your cocktails during Chocolate Week 2017.
The expert mixologists at Studio Bar have devised The ‘Big Yellow’ Cocktail, available exclusively from Monday 9 – Sunday 15 October. The eye-catching, bright yellow cocktail combines Black Mozart, MB Apricot, MB Banana, fresh Passion fruit, Coconut essence, and Sugar cane syrup, with garnishes modelled from Divine White Chocolate with Strawberries and Divine Milk Chocolate with Whole Almonds.
The Big Yellow Cocktail is available for £10.50.
Cocktails at K West can be enjoyed in the hotel’s chic Studio Bar, where in-house DJs play on Friday and Saturday nights. Alternatively, head to Studio Kitchen on the mezzanine floor which boasts an urban New York vibe, with edgy city landscapes stretching along the walls and sprinklings of filament light bulbs suspended individually.
K West Hotel & Spa is collaborating with Divine Chocolate for Chocolate Week 2017, the leading Fairtrade chocolate manufacturer. Divine uses the highest quality cocoa grown in the southern regions of Ghana by Kuapa Kokoo farmers, who own 44% of the company.
Formerly the BBC Kensington House Recording Studios in the 70s and 80s, an endless list of Rock ‘n’ Roll royalty has stayed, played and misbehaved at K West – Bob Marley and the Wailers, Bowie, The Kinks and Roxy Music to name a few. Since becoming a hotel, the venue has continued to strike a chord with musicians, who often stay whilst playing at nearby music venues O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and the Eventim Apollo.
