The Jolly Fine Pub Group which currently has three pubs with rooms in its portfolio; The Fox and Grapes (Wimbledon), The Malt House (Fulham) and The Victoria (East Sheen) is now under new ownership.
Greg Bellamy who has co-owned The Victoria with chef, Paul Merrett for over 9 years as well as also co-owning the more recently acquired Fox and Grapes and The Malthouse, will be moving on to pastures new.
Having just completed a very successful refurbishment and relaunch of The Victoria, Greg is now ready to pursue new business challenges within the hospitality industry.
The end of a very close working partnership but by no means the end of their friendship, Greg’s departure heralds the end of an era but also an opportunity for both Paul and Greg to follow their own paths.
Paul comments, “After nearly a decade of working together, I am very sad to see Greg go – our close working relationship has meant we have achieved some great things together and he will be sorely missed. I look forward to hearing about Greg’s next venture in due course and of course wish him all the very best”
Meanwhile The Jolly Fine Pub Group will continue to operate as normal with Paul Merrett at the helm. The recently refurbished Victoria in East Sheen is of primary focus at the moment where Paul is currently implementing a new menu.
