Refrigeration manufacturer wins prestigious Catering Insight award for second year running
Precision won Business Development Supplier of the Year for 2017 at the prestigious Catering Insight awards. The ceremony took place on November 23rd in Central London and the awards are voted for exclusively by distributors and customers.
“That’s what makes winning such a huge accolade,” said Tim Davis, UK Sales Director of Precision. “All the guys at Precision want to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted for us.”
This is the second year running that Precision has won a Catering Insight award, last year being crowned Heavy Equipment Supplier of the Year. Tim was joined on stage by Precision’s Regional Sales Manager Kandie Harrison to accept the award from Catering Insight editor Clare Nichols.
“Precision has grown its engagement with dealers over the past year, which is reflected in the volume of prestigious projects it has been involved with,” Clare said. “Additionally it has maintained its high rate of product development, with the latest version of its compact undercounter achieving an A rating for energy efficiency.”
A key factor that helped Precision win the award is the close relation it has with its business partners. For example, as a result of consultations with customers it developed its Revit BIM configurator, which offers kitchen houses complete flexibility when planning its refrigeration.
“We work tirelessly with our customers and business partners to ensure future products meet their needs, and this award is a testament to that,” says Tim Davis. “Once again, we’re thrilled the company’s hard work and underlying ethos has been recognised through such a prestigious award.”
