With spring just around the corner and life finally returning to the city, KERB has re-opened and re-launched its two popular food markets at the Gherkin and West India Quay. Gherkin opened again in February and West India Quay will open tomorrow, Thursday 17th March.

KERB is the street food superstar renowned for bringing the finest food trading talent together in one buzzy marketplace. KERB’s markets originally began as a way of supporting small businesses and championing emerging talent on the street food scene – and today is no different.

KERB’s Gherkin and West India Quay locations are perfectly located to brighten office workers’ days with a tempting array of street food options, all of which have been hand-picked by the KERB team for their epic flavours and game-changing cuisine. Think Thai comfort food, handmade dumplings and traditional Malaysian dishes alongside epic steaks, souped-up hotdogs and authentic wood-fired pizzas. And to keep things fresh and exciting, KERB rotates its roster of street food vendors on a weekly basis, ensuring new dishes will always be available to try.

KERB’s market at The Gherkin is already back in full swing, bringing city workers a variety of street food traders every Thursday lunchtime. This week the Gherkin plays host to The Grilling Greek, Horn Ok Please, Jollof Mama, 450 Degrees, Pochi, Twelve & Eights.

KERB On The Quay, meanwhile, is set to re-open this week to bring a bit of excitement back to lunchtime in the Docklands – and just in time for al fresco dining season. KERB’s hand-picked traders will be making their long-anticipated return to the area on Thursday 17th March, and become a permanent lunchtime fixture once more each Thursday thereafter. This week, West India Quays will see Steak Haus, Yaay Yaay, Kolkati, Calamari Canteen, Mandala, Makatcha, Oshpaz, Bian Dang

To celebrate, KERB is offering 200 free lunches at its West India Quay market to tempt city workers away from their desks and back into the heart of London’s finest food market once more. It’s first-come, first-served – with KERB encouraging customers to find one of the KERB team at the market to claim one of the free lunches, with 100 available on 17 and 100 available 24 March only.
