LGH Hotels Management Limited have officially joined the Room to Reward scheme, with their entire portfolio of hotels located across the country, to offer stays to those most deserving in their communities.
Room to Reward is a unique volunteer-recognition charity that uses donated unsold hotel rooms as a ‘thank you’ to those who are making a massive difference in their spare time. Room to Reward puts empty rooms to good use by treating hidden heroes that have been nominated by charities and community groups for their exceptional efforts.
Simon Teasdale, Chief Executive Officer for LGH Hotels Management Ltd, commented: “We are really excited to join Room to Reward because we wholeheartedly believe in their mission. As well as a room, we know we can provide an excellent service and experience across our portfolio to ensure that good people get the great break they deserve.”
Founder of Room to Reward, Nicolas Roach, added: “We are so happy for LGH Hotels to be joining our programme and supporting us to recognise and reward the outstanding, and often crucial, work that volunteers do across the UK. With LGH partaking, we have added a fantastic and varied selection of properties for our heroes to choose from, which I am confident they will love. I am looking forward to booking the first LGH reward stay and many more to come.”
LGH Hotels have 45 hotels in 34 locations nationwide, and more than 7,000 rooms collectively. From London to Edinburgh, they have 16 key city centre locations and are present in every major hub and city, all with excellent transport routes. The LGH portfolio includes global brands such as Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza and Best Western.
The scheme works whereby a volunteer is nominated by their charity as a ‘Hidden Hero’ and is presented with a hotel stay as a ‘thank you’ gift. The Hidden Hero picks their preferred hotel and dates for either one or two nights on a Bed & Breakfast basis, subject to availability.
LGH Hotels are listed as booking options on the Room to Reward website.
