To celebrate the re-release of the classic football anthem, VindaLoo Two, which is raising much-needed funds for the NHS, Deliveroo is giving away 15,000 codes offering £7.50 FREE credit for new and existing customers, to be used on a vindaloo (or any other dish) of their choice and enjoy it while watching England play.
Last week, Deliveroo announced that together with Will Mellor, and celebrity friends Keith Lemon, Keith Allen, Paddy McGuiness, Danny Dyer, Mark “Bez” Berry and Rowetta, it re-released the football anthem Vindaloo, under the new name of Vindaloo Two, with all proceeds going to NHS Charities Together.
From 17th June until 11th July – the last day of the European tournament, 15,000 new and existing Deliveroo customers can use the code ‘DELIVEROOYOURVINDALOO’ to get £7.50 FREE Deliveroo credit, and get a vindaloo (it’s the average price of a vindaloo), which can be redeemed at any Deliveroo restaurant. Minimum order, delivery fees and service charges may apply depending on the restaurant.
To get a FREE vindaloo, customers will need to enter the code ‘DELIVEROOYOURVINDALOO’ in the app or website. Customers using the app can go to their account and add the code into the ‘Enter a Promo Code’ field. On the website, click ‘Add a Code’ on the checkout page.
Aisha Jefferson, head of consumer comms at Deliveroo said: “In celebration of the newly released Vindaloo Two charity single, we are giving away 15,000 codes to get £7.50 free credit – enough to order a vindaloo on Deliveroo! As the sponsor of Vindaloo Two, we want it to get to number one in the UK charts as all proceeds go directly to NHS Charities Together. The more singles sold, the more money donated to the NHS, so let’s cheer for our heroes on and off the pitch and have a curry on us.”
As part of its continued support for the NHS, Deliveroo supported and funded the re-make of Vindaloo to ignite the nation in the spirit of football for a good cause. At the start of the Covid outbreak, Deliveroo launched a ‘Supporting the NHS’ campaign, pledging to deliver one million free meals to the NHS and other vulnerable groups. In May, the company proudly announced it delivered one million meals to over 1,000 hospitals across 100 cities throughout the pandemic.
The new charity version of Vindaloo spearheaded by Deliveroo and Will Mellor was released on June 11th, giving football fans and families up and down the country the opportunity to sing along to classic lines like “we’re gonna score one more than you, England!” and sing the famous “nah nah nah”, with all sales of the single being donated to NHS Charities Together.
Vindaloo Two is available to buy and download NOW on all streaming platforms, and football fans can watch the video here on YouTube featuring Will Mellor, Keith Lemon, Paddy McGuiness, Danny Dyer, Mark “Bez” Berry, Rowetta, London Community Gospel Choir, Deliveroo riders, and the Master of Ceremonies himself, Keith Allen.
The £7.50 free code curry giveaway is running from 17th June until 21 June and is available to 15,000 new and existing Deliveroo customers. Minimum order, delivery fees and service charges may apply depending on the restaurant.
