With the New Year ushering in a key period for catering equipment buyers, the Great Hospitality Show 2017 (NEC Birmingham, 23rd – 25th January) is set to tantalise visitors throughout its three days with hundreds of the very latest catering equipment innovations, under one roof.
In 2017, the show floor will be packed with more catering equipment suppliers than any other event. January will also mark the very first outing for many of the innovative new products, giving show visitors extra impetus to make the Great Hospitality Show their destination of choice for an enticing first-look.
Returning is the highly successful CESA Innovation Zone, the dedicated platform for the most unique innovative light and heavy equipment products and services from manufacturers. The zone represents the continuation of the longstanding partnership between the Great Hospitality Show and CESA (Catering Equipment Suppliers Association). Exhibitors confirmed so far include; Blue Seal, Adande, European Watercare, Catering Equipment Ltd, Metcalfe Catering Equipment, Commercial Catering Spares, Victor Manufacturing, BGL Reiber, Manitowoc and Signature FSE, with more innovators being added weekly.
The show is also set to welcome its first-ever catering equipment ambassador, Mike Caldicott, Managing Director of kitchen design pioneers, Tricon. With 30 years in the business and a host of high profile installs overseen in that time, Mike is set to host a panel discussion around smarter kitchen design on Tuesday 24th January at 1pm on The Business Briefing Stage.
Toby Wand, Managing Director, Great Hospitality Show, says: “Yet again, catering equipment is set to play a pivotal role in the show, as we shine a spotlight on some of the globe’s biggest names and partner with CESA to showcase ground-breaking innovations from some well-known manufacturers. We’re proud to state that in 2017 no other show can boast such an array of suppliers and influencers under the same roof – I urge visitors looking to refresh or overhaul their kitchens to look no further, if it’s not on our show floor, it’s simply not worth having.”
With partnerships in mind, Cedabond, the UK’s leading purchasing consortium for commercial catering equipment, has announced that it will be hosting a VIP members’ lounge at the Great Hospitality Show.
The lounge, which will be accessible by invitation only, will offer a relaxed, private environment away from the main hustle and bustle of the show and be situated on stand 632 in the very centre of the exhibition, close to several Cedabond suppliers.
Cedabond Chairman and Executive Director, Phil Martin says: “We know that a lot of Cedabond members and suppliers visit the show not just to see the latest in equipment technology but also to network with customers, colleagues and business associates. The aim of the Cedabond members’ lounge is to give them the opportunity to do this in a relaxed setting.”
Toby adds: “Fresh Montgomery, the organiser of the Great Hospitality Show, prides itself on excellent relationships with the industry’s leading trade bodies and so we’re delighted that Cedabond is to become the latest association to partner with us. Offering this type of haven, for private meetings or networking, only makes the proposition sweeter for visitors.”
A traditional staple of the Great Hospitality Show, the Catering Equipment Networking Dinner, is set to yet again punctuate proceedings, giving visitors the opportunity to socialise away from the NEC. The event is situated on, and themed around, Burns Night (Tuesday 24th January) and will be staged at The Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Tickets are available by visiting: https://bit.ly/2farLqe
