Daventry-based restaurant interior and commercial kitchen design company, Catering Design Group (CDG), has been shortlisted in the High Growth Business of the Year category of the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards Final 2019.
The awards recognise and showcase industrious, hardworking and enterprising SMEs working across the county of Northamptonshire.
From humble beginnings as a home-based enterprise in 1990, Catering Design Group is now one of UK’s leading restaurant interior and commercial kitchen design companies. The design firm offers a full design service to clients throughout the hospitality, retail, leisure and education sectors.
Growth has been steady and strategic. 2018 was the best performing year since a pre-recession peak in 2008; Catering Design Group gained 82 contracts last year including a £1.1M design project with Elior UK at the University of Sunderland. This year has also started strongly with the best first quarter in the company’s history to date.

CDG will now go forward to the finals which will take place at the historic Royal and Derngate Theatre, Northampton on Thursday 26th September 2019.
