The newly refurbished, Oatlands Park Hotel are currently busy adorning the halls with Chritsmas trees, twinkling lights and baubells galore. What better way to help start the Christmas countdown by getting together over festive themed sweet treats in this magnificent cosy setting. A day for all the family, and a day to remember.
Whilst their joyful Christmas playlist gets you in the spirit, the afternoon tea is served.. On the three-tier cake stand there’s the traditional afternoon tea fare, including a selection of freshly prepared finger sandwiches and homemade scones, clotted cream and fruit preserves. What makes this festive family-friendly experience truly special is the additional items the team have created; Santa Religieuse (choux filled with apple, caramel and cinnamon mousse with crispy chocolate pearls), pistachio macarons, Sanchertorte (A divine chocolate torte) and a snowflake decorated praline cheesecake.
Available at the hotel from now until Christmas Eve. The festive afternoon tea is available from £24.95 per person during the week and from £28.95 per person during the weekend.
As well as the Afternoon Tea, there’s mulled wine and mouth-watering mince pies to be had in the comfortable surroundings of their new hotel bar, Bar 1509. Using their refined recipe of brandy, sugar, oranges, cloves, cinnamon & nutmeg, The Oatlands Park Mulled Wine is the perfect way to get that fuzzy festive feeling. Not a fan of mulled wine … Don’t worry! The team at Oatlands have you an incredible alternative. A Royal Crown Martini, a dessert cocktail that is perfectly balanced, adding a fragrant smell and a slight orange taste that goes wonderfully with freshly baked mince pies.
