This International Sherry Week (4th-10th November) José Pizarro’s Pizarro Bermondsey is offering a tasting and learning experience for sherry lovers and those looking for an introduction to the drink.
For £17 guests at Pizarro Bermondsey can enjoy a exclusive sherry tasting flight of three sherries including José’s own Rare Solera PAP Palo Cortado which will be served with the ideal accompaniment of Cinco Jotas acorn-fed 100% Ibérico Jamon. Other sherries in the flight include Osborne’s Fino Coquinero and Bailen Oloroso. The sherry flight is an ideal way to start an evening before enjoying dinner at the restaurant.
This sherry flight with accompanying 5J Jamon is exclusive to Pizarro Bermondsey however there will also be a special Sherry Cocktail lists and Sherry Week tasting flights available at José’s restaurants; José Tapas, Pizarro Broadgate and The Swan Inn. The Swan in Esher is also hosting a special sherry dinner with Dhruv Baker on 5th November.
José Pizarro is an expert on and lover of sherry: as well as collaborating on his own sherry he has worked with luxury crystal brand Moser to design the Pizarro glass – a bespoke glass that offers a whole new experience for sherry drinkers.
