POMONA’S, NOTTING HILL UNVEILS SUMMER GARDEN WITH NEW SUMMER COCKTAILS @pomonaslondon

Summer is here, so where better to enjoy it than in Notting Hill’s hidden gem, Pomona’s charming summer garden. Settle under the pergola surrounded by greenery and soak up the sunshine or if the weather isn’t living up to the season you can wrap up in the soft fleece throws. The garden has had a distinctly British refresh with fresh planting and styling.

The award-winning mixologist, conjures up show-stopping cocktails, from old favourites to forgotten classics. You’ll also find bespoke G&Ts, an exemplary wine list featuring an array of British vintages and zero-proof classics, ensuring all tastes are catered for.

Created for the summer, The Bluberry which evokes a taste of the countryside, with hints of St Germain elderflower liqueur and homemade blueberry syrup, infused with a shot of Miller’s Classic gin. Another favourite with customers is Basil & Yuzu Bellini, a Yuzu infused sake, fresh lemon juice and basil leaves topped with Prosecco.

A relaxed fine dining atmosphere with seasonal all-day menus, sharing plates and tasting menu, can be enjoyed inside or out. Sharing plates created by new head chef, Ruth Hansom, are perfect for sharing with friends over a relaxed brunch, lunch or dinner.

For brunch enjoy dishes such as Buttermilk pancakes, maple syrup, smoked Dingley Dell bacon or Clarence Court Eggs with Chorizo and Kale baked inside a Squash. The All Day menu features Udale salt cured duck breast, Jasmin raisin; and Swaledale lamb rump, spring onion, wild garlic, English pea, morel. While the 10-course Sharing Tasting Menu includes Smoked Potato Foam with York, Watercress and Summer Truffle; and Valrhona Chocolate Fondant.

Ruth, who was Young Chef of the Year 2017, joined Pomona’s on the 1st May.

Those wanting to channel Pomonas’s summer vibes in their own garden can recreate The Blueberry at home. The cocktail features:

  • 35ml gin
  • 20ml St Germain elderflower liqueur
  • 25ml homemade blueberry syrup
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • 3 mint leaves
  • Soda water
