NOTTINGHAM ENTREPRENEURS LAUNCH THIRD VENTURE WITH ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN BEESTON

THE NOTTINGHAM moguls behind popular city restaurant Sans Patrie and Bar Sans Patrie have announced the opening date of their new, authentic Italian offering in the heart of Beeston, Ottimo.

Hailed as the best contemporary restaurant launching this spring, Ottimo will be the third restaurant release from Nottingham business duo Ross Considine and Nick Parker, of Saint Property Services, to continue an exciting expansion into the county’s hospitality sector.

Located within the multi-million-pound Beeston Square redevelopment, the 3,000 sq ft, 150-seater venue has created 45 jobs and will join a new, vibrant bar and restaurant scene along with the relaxed and stylish surroundings of the Arc Cinema complex.

Ottimo’s menu, created by culinary expert and former contestant of Masterchef: The Professionals, Keelan Burton, is an authentic array of the finest Italian flavours including pulled beef cheek croquette, mussels marinara, aubergine caviar bruschetta and many more dishes to tantalise the tastebuds.

Currently head chef at Sans Patrie Restaurant and Bar Sans Patrie in Nottingham, Keelan is also a former finalist of the Nottinghamshire Food & Drink Awards and is leading the way with intelligent cuisine at the heart of his distinctive food creations.

Co-founder Ross, a self-confessed foodie, says his passion lies in delivering unique dining experiences centred around high-quality and fresh food to offer irresistible flavours and signature dishes unlike anything customers have tasted before.

Ross said: “Ottimo derives from the word optimum – an adjective which translates as the ‘best possible’. This is what eating out should provide; the best possible ingredients and tasting experience you can get.

“We want to combine traditional preparations – such as our stunning stone pizza oven – with local ingredients to create an honest and wholesome Italian experience that takes you on a culinary journey. Keelan’s innovative twists and turns create an element of surprise for diners and paired with an array of delicious cocktails and craft beers, Ottimo offers an exciting, contemporary feel to an otherwise traditional menu.”

Public opening will be Friday 29 April 2022 with daytime and evening dining from 10am-10pm, Monday to Thursday and 10am-11pm, Friday to Sunday.
